Froch would have beaten Golovkin

    He was knocking out in brutal fashion every top middleweight contender where he wanted to stay and unify, what else could he have done? He has slowed massively since Macklin for example, you must have an agenda or simply not watched enough of him. What about Hagler ? He was punching through treacle v Leonard, GGG is much older and has had way more fights than Hagler. Delusional to think he has the same ability as 10 years ago come on.

    He got tooled up in Alvarez 2

    At the end of the day Alvarez got schooled by PBF, lost to trout, Alvarez, scraped by old shot tiny Cotto, I can go on.

    Alvarez is decent but calling him an ATG is really debatable outside of his name value.

    Put it this way I'd say old shot Cotto did as well as golovkin vs Alvarez

    Yet he's supposed to batter Froch all over the ring lol?

    Froch would eat the dude up and bludgeon him in a corner late.

    Yeah he looked great vs macklin

    Only one issue

    It was ****ing macklin, and all due respect to him but he's trash

    Froch would literally look like Hagler vs ****ing macklin.

    Absolutely, I liked Froch but he wouldn't have a snowflakes chance in hell against a prime GGG.

    Honestly GGG reminds me a lot of Abraham

    Abraham was wrecking **** at 160lbs

    He was rated in most people's P4P, as a fantastic counterpuncher with an iron jaw, and the hardest p4p puncher in the sport. Many predicted him to walk the super 6, and to knock Froch out cold.

    People will deny it but everything I said above is true.

    Obviously he went up to 168 and wasn't even competetive.

    Golovkin at 160 done pretty much the same as Abraham did, and has the same rep, but it seems like he learned from A A and hasn't gone up against the big boys, instead trying to unify a weak division and fight domestic journeymen for most of his prime.

    Froch took way more risks, fought superior fighters and schooled and mogged golovkins prototype

    Haha he really didn't.. It was a close fight.. Alvarez went at him ggg boxed on the back foot n did enough to win... And that's an old golovkin.... And junky **** alvarez is but he is still gonna go down as an atg... And he is getting better.

    You can pick holes in anyone's resume if your doing that.... Froch got made to look a twat off dirrell... Got hurt and got a gift where he barely landed the entire fight, groves kicked **** out of him in the first fight.... Chinny jermaine Taylor beat frochs ass and hurt him, suprised he wasn't well up on the cards when he was stopped .... Its easy to do.

    I thought alvarez beat trout... Never watched the lara fight cos I won't watch a lara fight.

    You seem to have golovkin down as a one dimensional plodder and neglecting to see the skills he does possess... Your also looking at the old golovkin rather than a peak one... When froch vs ggg was mooted... Ggg was peak.... Froch wasn't.

    I can see ways in which froch causes golovkin problems... But I believe golovkin would win if they had fought back when froch fancied the fight.

    Im not foolish enough to believe golovkin is gonna win every mythical h2h match up in history.... But against someone whose slower than him with worse footwork whose best defense is his face... I'll take ggg

    He wanted to unify middleweight and he beat the top contenders, what was he supposed to do?
    What has Canelo done? Lost to Mayweather and Lara at lower weights, now takes credit for what should be a loss and a draw at best, against ancient Golovkin.
    But GGG is the overrated one?

    Always thought Froch would get himself over the line in a match up with GGG and my opinion hasn't changed.

    You're using the same rationale people use to bash Duran. People can only put them down past prime when they've slipped and use those fights as examples of why they are 'overrated'.
    Let's see what Canelo's doing at 36, you reckon he'll still be beating the top ranked fighters in the world? He'll cash out with a nothing fight as soon as he feels he's starting to slip.

    again, GGG was 36, Alvarez was prime, and still majority of people feel Canelo lost at least one of those fights, again, what do you think prime GGG does to him?
