Froch would have beaten last nights Dawson

  1. Froch thrashes any Dawson. Dawson is nothing but hype, I've been saying this for years.

I remember the utterly insufferable Max Kellerman was hyping Dawson to death, and now he is aboard the Ward hype express. Kellerman is a disgrace.

I agree that Froch beats Dawson at this point, because Dawson skills have eroded because he constantly switches trainers. But over-hyped? He beat Adamek who at the time was undefeated, beat Tarver X2, Diaconu (ex wbc lhw champion) Glen Johnson x2, and Bernard Hopkins. He is not over-hyped because he is what he is, I think the correct word would be underachiever.

I dont think this fight would of been like this at light heavy. Heard rumours that Dawson lost 6 pounds in the last week thats not good..
Look at the size of Dawson why the **** could Ward not go uop the weight..

I do agree with you that the drop in weight effected his performance, but even at 175 Ward would still beat him. There is fundamental flaws in Dawson's game that he needs to fix, and they are fixable. He needs to drop Scully though.

I wouldn't disagree either. Dawson looked like virtually any of the super-sixers would have laid him out.

I think the Light Heavyweight talent altogether is over-estimated....

Froch would have won against Dawson, and i think Dawson is the LW's best talent....

I would go to say Froch could go to LW and snag a title....
    Ward - easily

Many would have beaten Dawson this weekened, but it wasn't really Chad Dawson.

Froch would annihilate Dawson at 168 and 175. Chad cannot handle pressure at all, Froch would put it on him and he would fold like a deckchair.

At 168 Froch lays him out, a healthy Chad at 175 destroys Froch, that's a easy fight for his style
