what would you consider hopkins prime? when he was defending against the likes of hakar and robert allan 3 times and calling out every welterweight that moved

or when he was delivering his best performances in his 40s against the likes of tarver, wright, calzaghe, pavlik etc? :think

whats interesting though is that

froch ko's taylor and bhop loses twice to him :think

froch beats pascal and hopkins can only draw with him :think

 

froch would kill bhop

itd be worse than abraham

As much as i dislike Hopkins, i have to agree with the other posters who believe Hopkins style is all wrong for Froch! As i doubt Froch can stop him (and certainly not inside 7 rounds) its impossible for me to imagine Froch could outpoint him.

BUT it could end as a draw

 

My reasoning is Froch got outboxed by Dirrell and Taylor (despite the wins) and got beat by Kessler. how can a guy who has been this inconsistent even be considered when talking about beating Hopkins even at his age? I know Hopkins lost to Taylor twice, but they were incredbly close and many beleive Hopkins won at least one of them. Froch had to rely on a last minute KO. Hopkins is also a different animal at LHW. You really think Froch could KO Hopkins when he has never been KO'd in his life? No chance

 

Didnt know Froch was moving up to 175lbs.

 

Froch would murder Hopkins it's so true. I was thinking that last night. Pascal's work rate is dreadful and that's what lost him the fight. Froch would wear the old man out, knock him down a few times and probably KO him.

 

I'd very much like to see this fight. :bbb
