what would you consider hopkins prime? when he was defending against the likes of hakar and robert allan 3 times and calling out every welterweight that moved or when he was delivering his best performances in his 40s against the likes of tarver, wright, calzaghe, pavlik etc? :think whats interesting though is that froch ko's taylor and bhop loses twice to him :think froch beats pascal and hopkins can only draw with him :think
As much as i dislike Hopkins, i have to agree with the other posters who believe Hopkins style is all wrong for Froch! As i doubt Froch can stop him (and certainly not inside 7 rounds) its impossible for me to imagine Froch could outpoint him. BUT it could end as a draw
My reasoning is Froch got outboxed by Dirrell and Taylor (despite the wins) and got beat by Kessler. how can a guy who has been this inconsistent even be considered when talking about beating Hopkins even at his age? I know Hopkins lost to Taylor twice, but they were incredbly close and many beleive Hopkins won at least one of them. Froch had to rely on a last minute KO. Hopkins is also a different animal at LHW. You really think Froch could KO Hopkins when he has never been KO'd in his life? No chance
Froch would murder Hopkins it's so true. I was thinking that last night. Pascal's work rate is dreadful and that's what lost him the fight. Froch would wear the old man out, knock him down a few times and probably KO him.
So from your logic Both Torrecampo and Singsurat KTFO Pacquiao, so Torrecampo/Singsurat destroys Cotto/Margarito? Floyd had a hardtime vs Castillo close 1st fight, Hatton KTFO Castillo, But Hatton got GTFO vs Floyd Styles makes fight :bbb
