Froch would've beaten Golovkin, right?

Lmfao you must be a newbie?? Taylor has 2 wins over a prime Hopkins , that's better than anything ggg has ever made at 160 and ggg wouldve never come close at beating Hopkins, don't act as if Taylor was garbage .

SOG stole the confidence and soul of Froch IMO and I enjoyed watching Froch box

And that was his genuine feeling at the time

All that "too big and too strong" nonsense came later when he knew he would never come back and had retired for good.

Yeah, I am a newbie who has been posting on here for 10 years......

And I never said JT was garbage. I implied that GGG was better. Which he is.

It is simple how much evidence do you need in His Prime Golovkin was avoided...even Canelo handed His belt to Him....
Love or Hate Golovkin Stevie Wonder could see in His Prime no one wanted Him.!!!

Froch would’ve smashed GGG. I was 50/50 back in the day, but I appreciate GGG having an iron chin and I see him getting stopped on his feet

dude when the fight was first brought up Canelo was a JMW who won a title at a CW GGG was unwilling to negotiate with the bigger star so he didn’t get the fight. Y’all need to stop trying to tear down actual good fighters to prop up this hypejob

I would predict the fight would be highly competitive and go the distance with the decision possibly depending if the fight took place in the UK or the US.

I remember that fight like it was yesterday. GGG boxed Lemieux because he is a huge puncher. Why take chances when you knows the knockout is going to come.
BTW Lemieux probably hits harder than Froch. It took Froch 12 rounds to do what Palvik did in 7 with Taylor. Eight pounds doesn't mean much when you're a legitimate puncher. It's not that much of a stretch to think that a prime GGG could KO Froch. If Taylor can hurt Froch, GGG can finish him.

Froch by late TKO untill Golovkin moves up to 168 and proves otherwise.

Have you seen Lemieux at 168? Demonstrably false. Golovkin has not stopped an elite middleweight. He's not stopping an elite 168er. People are throwing dirt on Taylor's name like he wouldn't be a top name on GGG's resume.

Forget Froch. Sakio Bika would've bullied a prime Golovkin. It's a style issue. Golovkin the bully disappears in high profile fights. Canelo and Derevyachenko both proved he can't handle that pressure in return. Neither of them have Froch's size or gas tank.

Honestly we could weed out which posters to ignore by also asking if they think Golovkin would've beaten Ward. The guy talked about fighting from 154-168 and never left. Had to take step aside money from Cotto, fight a welterweight, Vanes Martyrosyan, Steve Rolls. The fantasies people dream up of his game staggering.

I think some of that was said in jest, with tongue in cheek. That being said, just because a fighter might lack confidence, doesn't mean he can't beat the man he may fear. Hell, Froch had to go to a psychologist to get himself into the right headspace for the rematch against Groves, and look what happened there.
