Froch would've beaten Golovkin, right?

By no means am I saying GGG or AA are on a similar level, Golovkin is clearly better, but I still feel GGG-Froch wouldn't look all that dissimilar to this match.

Golovkin has a good chance of stopping Froch.

Froch respected Golovkin so I think he'd box more cautiously than people think. Not sure he'd be able to grind a guy down who hits that hard and has an engine and chin in the same ballpark. Could have ended up looking like Groves Froch 2 before the KO, especially if Golovkin respected Froch's punch and boxed more, as he's been shown to do.

Don't trust Froch's latest comments though, because there's an ifltv vid of him meeting Loeffler years ago, where they discuss the fight and the weight. I just rewatched it to confirm that Loeffler specifically states they'll fight Froch at 168lbs. Froch is the one that doesn't accept that weight, he wants 172lbs. Loeffler doesn't want to go beyond 168lbs. Now this is just a conversation, not official negotiations, but I find it hard to believe they would try to get Froch to 166 and lose the fight that they badly wanted. Remember this was considered a huge stadium fight and would have been GGG's biggest payday at the time. I personally think Froch didn't want to risk a loss/make 168lbs again, and walked away, but who really knows.

If Abraham was any more one-dimensional he would have been a piece of flat cardboard.

He made Froch look like Sugar Ray that night.

I'm not disrespecting Taylor. He's one of my favorite fighters.
The GGG that fought Canelo and Derevyachenko was already showing signs of slipping. He was 35 and had a huge AM career. Not everybody is Hopkins.
Bika and Froch fight in total different styles. A Bika fight would be ugly.
Bottom line is: I don't rate Froch as highly as alot of people here do, he lost his biggest fights in his prime. He's totally beatable when facing the right fighter. It's not like he's RJJ at 168.

ggg has the biggest bunch of groupies ever who make excuses for why he shouldn’t have to do what other great fighters have done. Name one concession GGG has ever made to make a fight?

Yeah, GGG ain't stopping Froch, nor Froch is outboxing GGG like he did to Abraham. He'd have to back G up to beat him.

Okay so we can't use "prime" GGG as a reference because he almost exclusively fought low level comp. We can't use "past prime" GGG either, the one you people think beat the best fighter in the sport Canelo twice. The only version with a semi-solid resume.

So I guess we can conclude that GGG wins in a weight class he never ventured to because, uh, idk.
