Is Froch the perfect example of how a boxer should be?, purely from an attitude point of view. He was not afraid to fight at home or away, he was not afraid to seek out the best , he avoided the classic route of taking a lot of "tune up or stay busy fights", and now in his twilight years he is still a voiding the again classic " final big pay day easy fights to retire on". Haters will probally mention how he made excuses for his loses but please name me many top fighters that dont do that, its just how they justify it within their oown minds so they can still continue and be confiident.
Froch is an ATG SMW. The guy fought almost his entire career at the weight. He is the ultimate professional. He's always in shape and has been fighting at a high level since his 10th pro fight when he won his first title. He's had a relatively short pro career since he turned pro at 25. But, evenso, 33 fights and at 36yo he looks just as sharp as he did when he was beating world level challengers like Adamu, Barney, and Magee. I dont like his ****iness, and am probably subconsciously jealous of his 5exlife:yep, but while styles make fights, and his style won't beat the slick defensive style, he is still the #1 SMW of this generation. And he fights.....anyone, ANYWHERE, and anytime.deal:deal
A bit extreme mate. Hopkins Mayweather Kessler Wlad Manny This is off the top my head. Froch has had an amazing career and his attitude is fantastic. But some of Froch's wins are not as great they might seem on paper.
I agree with your list of better resumes, except maybe Kessler. But BHOP didnt become an ATG until he started at the TRT clinic, and Mayflower has fought only in spurts.
kessler? nope mayweather? rarely fights the best in his division, so more title fights but not impressive in terms of caliber wlad? its close, especially after the upcoming fight with POV Manny? i can see that Hopkins? i can see that , but his career has spanned 20 plus years inorder to do what froch has in 5 or 6 years in terms of fighting the most dangerous guys in his division
