Although Froch was fast, he wasn't any faster than Bute. The difference was that Froch had a better game plan, and was mentally a lot stronger. Also, I don't think Froch was reckless at all, once he got him going he was hitting Bute with a surprising amount of clean, heavy shots. He was so focused and accurate, Bute was always going to fold before Froch punched himself out. Fact is, at the end of the fight Froch didn't even look all that tired. He didn't really take much from Bute, either. I can't believe people here are still knocking Froch after that performance, it was a complete destruction of a word class fighter and Froch hardly put a foot wrong.
I agree with this to an extent. He was jumping on him and beating him up, it was his heart and strength that won him the fight. I agree with whoever said he became obsessed with his power and started loading up. The only criticism I had in the third round was when Bute was moving around and alot of Frochs shots were missing he should've started going to the body to open him up like he did to force the Taylor stoppage. Great fight, great game plan and great execution by Froch
Dont understand why people would question Bute's heart, seems unfair. Bute came unstuck because of his chin, it was plain to see that Lucian tried to fight back but simply couldnt.
