Benn - Sanderline, De Witt, Iran, Eubank, Simms ?

Hamed - Kelley, Vasquez, McCullough, Ingle, Soto, Bungu ?

Or we could look at the time frame and say....

Herol Graham fought Lindell Holmes, Sanderline, Kalule, Kaylor, Kalambay and McCallum in 4 years.

Eubank fought Benn, Watson, Watson again, Malinga, Holmes, Benn again, Rocchigiani and Collins in 4 years.

Joe fought Lacy, Bika, Kessler, Hopkins and Jones in 2.5 years.

Froch has fought unskilled Pascal (just athletic), past-it blown-up middle Taylor, unskilled Dirrell (just athletic), past-it one-dimensional Kessler, past-it one-dimensional blown-up middle Abraham, and past-it weight-drained Glencoffe - in 3.5 years.

Is it really that amazing, these so-called 'back-to-back top fights' of Froch?

    :deal

dirrell is quite possibly the most skilled super middleweight out there! its a shame hes a *****!

pascal has had some good wins since froch dealt with him. definitely a good fighter.

    the OP's breakdown is pathetic

Yes, it's been a superb run of fights, there are plenty of things to have a go at boxers for, Froch's list of recent fights is not one of them.

Eubank gets away with god knows what on here, he was the original WBO (Euro title in those days) stay at home fighter, he admits how unwilling he was to travel to take on the big fights himself!!

If you wish to give credit for quality of opponents in those days, one has always got to hand it to Benn, who went Stateside too.

"I can't have my best fighters fight Eubanks because he has too much an awkward style to look good against on my pay-per-view channel.

    "It would be corporate suicide."

    - Bob Arum on Eubank's willingness to fight James Toney and Michael Nunn next, ITV pre-fight to the Eubank-Lindell Holmes fight

Another time, Arum said Eubank wasn't enough of a household name in America to fight there

He couldn't do **** all, unlike Ricky and Joe when the Arum-King monopoly had died out and new outfits like Golden Boy could take them from Frank W/Showtime

Dirrell made Froch look bad, but Sanderline Williams made Toney look bad.

At made a thread similar to this before, clearly doesn't like Carl nor this generation of SMW.

Who else you want him to fight mate?. Do you want him to drag out the 90's era from retirement and fight them?...

Sums the thread up when you don't slag off Lacy who was a terrible hypejob. Nor the fact you adding Bika to list and not saying a word yet say Johnson was weight drained and past it when he's clearly still at top level although not as good as he once was admittedly.

Dirrell really isn't very skilled. There's a modern misconception that constantly moving away from your opponent and flicking out punches is 'good boxing'.

He's also terrified of getting into a fight, evidently. Falls over a lot, and looks for the easy way out.

Watch him against the talentless Victor Oganov. Just....eugh.

I think AtBerry comes from a similar standpoint from me. Not a case of downplaying Frochs achievements, but rather refreshing peeps on the fact that, although Carl is fresh in our minds and looks to be an amazing run, others have done similar things before.

Unlike me, he seems to really like playing 'Devils Advocate' ;-)

pascal unskilled????just athletic??? so i know a guy athleticism is out of this world he could dominate pascal then by your logic, hopkins can make the best look unskilled, pascal is very skilled and its a very good win for froch
