Froch's comments on Ward/Green fight...

...yeah right

 

I'm with BigReg, Green initiated most of the clinching when Ward was on the inside and couldn't let his hands go when Ward wasn't. Green stunk out the place and unfortunately Ward doesn't have the power to finish the fight early.
The commentators were saying that Green will lapse mentally during the fight but I'm not sure he was ever mentally IN the fight in the first place.

 

Watching the green and kessler fights against suggests to me that direll will beat ward. Direll is too fast, sharp and slippery for the mauling tactics and i believe he can also outbox ward at range. I dont want to take anything away from ward but green looked horrible throughout the whole fight. It's not even like ward was unloading on him to stop him fighting. Then again i suppose when your pinned against the ropes with a head in your chest its difficult to get off shots.

I'd love to see froch vs ward now but more so dirrel vs ward.

 

Froch is right. The fight was garbage. Even worse than Froch's "fight" with Dirrell.
