He doesn't seem confident here either :think

Jesus. He looks pretty shattered. Doesn't seem particularly verbose either.
    And I hate Kalle Sauerland.

As soon as fight was announced to be in Denmark Froch has been saying about a home town decision, not exactly positive mindset,

Sometimes fighters start making excuses before the event.....

Or could be some Fergie-esque mind games!!

Maybe somebody should let him know Amir Khan's fighting live on ITV, i think that would be enough to get his blood boiling and get a vintage Froch perfomance :)

How can you hate Kalle, the man is as cockney as Ray winstone and Henry cooper combined.

I was at the Dirrell press conference in Nottingham and that sounds like standard froch speak tbh not overly exaggerative just repeats his statistics id say with almost a quiet confidence thats put me a bit more at ease i think when it gets close to the fight he cba with the press stuff and jsut want to get in the ring

Well that demeanour is one of the reasons he is not on Sky Box Office, should cheer up, people warm to a smile.

the monotone is standard for froch. nowt wrong with the interview. I think it easy to pick up on the ngatives. i just think he is being honest rather than panicking about anything in particular

The Talksport interview? Or the press conference?

That interview on Talksport is hilarious. I love the way he tells it as it is.

On a serious note, I think Froch could be in trouble. He needs to be mentally relaxed to pick his heavy single shots and if he's worrying about judges and forcing the issue too much, he could get sloppy and walk into Kessler's one-two all night and Kessler with confidence and timing might be hard to catch up with.

Not that fat *******. Froch definitely needs that ko now.
Although I just checked boxrec and Guido Cavalleri's also been announced as a judge, and he seems to have been a bit of lucky charm for Brit fighters in recent years.
He was the ref when Froch beat Pascal, when Haye stopped Mormeck in Paris & most recently when Jamie McDonnell won the EBU bantamweight title in France.
However he has also acquired a bit of a reputation as a hometown judge as well.

Froch shouldn't be worried about home town decisions, being the recipient of one recently.
