When he was on ''On the Ropes'' he said he wasn't worried about being robbed by hometown decision because he was fighting for WBC title and that he trusts the Council to pick the best judges.

I think he just speaks as he feels, He still thinking about the fight and preparing like any good professional does and Carl is a true champion and great champions adapt and i think he smart enough to not to be silly and lose focus. I'm confident for him in this fight...but i was with Dirrell. I think Johnny Nelson hit nail on head...he needs the big fights to bring best to table.

I think people are getting far too worried about nothing. He seems fine in the second interview. Carl by nature seems a miserable sod and he will turn it on when he has to. Was far more worried about the Taylor fight. Kessler is quite one dimensional and looked awful in his last fight. Froch can bully him, but needs to find a way past that jab.

I truly believe Froch is trying to make out like he's apprehensive, when actually he's anything but. It just seems a bit too consistent - every interview he seems to be coming across like he doesn't really fancy it.

If Kessler believes those interviews, he'll feel he's in for quite an easy night and won't be able to get fully charged up for it - especially the bit about being able to safely jab his way to a UD. If Kessler gets in the ring believing that, and using that as the basis for his stategy, Froch will KO him early.

So I'd say don't worry about his mindset - if he was genuinely apprehensive, he'd be going all out to show supreme confidence in these interviews. I think he knows what he's doing. I hope so anyway cos I've got £20 on him!

If i'd known he was going to be a judge at the Cleverly-Brancalion bout, I would've bought a ticket just to have a shot at assaulting him.

Or a buffet table for that matter, but nontheless, all that nonsense Kessler was spouting about Carl getting a fair shake really has left a bad taste in the mouth after this.

The talksport interview is worrying... Froch's mental preparation hasn't been ideal, what with the ash cloud and all. Given that Froch is very much a fighter relying on his mental resolve and never-say-die attitude, it's not funny if you are a Froch fan.

He will be fine, he has doubts but he's channeling them right. In fact i'd go as far to say this will be the performance of his career. Just got a feeling

Mcguigan said prior to the pascal fight that froch was a nervous amateur and has little self belief, I agree he over compensates and that's why he is the david brent of fightcamp 360.

I don't care about the result of the fight I just hope it's good, but this guy could potentially screw somebody, how he isn't banned from the sport is ridiculous!

As the late, great Kurt Vonnegut Jr. Said:
'We are what we pretend to be, so we should be careful about what we pretend to be'

The reason that he isn't on SBO is because he isn't acting like one of the Chuckle Brothers? I doubt it
