Froch's Technique is Ugly, but He Should Stop Bute!

    My reactions may have been extreme towards Froch but for Taylor to lose like that, to a guy he was out-classing is hard-to-take. Understand it was not just last night, but Froch's disrespect and idiot remarks about Joe Calzaghe. He is obsessed and it's pathetic. Froch has heart and chin, **** but awkward skill.

    Froch would still KO Lucien Bute, with no problem. Bute is no where near Taylor and Bute has shown he can fall apart. Froch should try and get Bute ASAP. Getting two belts will be even better for a future fight with Kessler (I hope). Kessler never falls apart though. I just hope Kessler gets going again soon. Ideal scenario is Kessler fights Balzsay, gets his belt while Froch KO's Bute and we have a super-unification bout. Unlikely, but would be nice.

    Taylor was the 2nd hardest test next to Kessler (who's a whole different story), unless Chad Dawson comes to 168, which is highly likely after the Tarver fight. Froch should be able to beat most the other SMW's.

    I think he would stop Bute too. Bute would easily outbox him early but that constant pressure from Froch would eventually get to Bute. We've already seen issues with Bute in the Andrade fight.

    I'd pick Bute by stoppage easy here.He's got the right style to beat Froch

    good points, I see you arent totally unbiased and corrupted poster Jeff:good

    I dont see more than one thing in Bute to trouble Frog is his southpaw stance. His reach is ridiculous 70" while Jermain were 78 with Much better jab than Bute.

    Bute doesn't have as much pop as Taylor or skill, so Froch should be able to walk through him and knock him out!

    Taylor stopped outclassing him after the third round. It was a close fight from there on out, IMO.

    Bute's power is MUCH better compared to powder uff Taylor especially at 168 and especially when Taylor's last KO was when you didn't even follow boxing.
    Skill wise they are the same.

    You cannot be too certain about the power difference because Taylor has been facing top fighters and guys that are very hard to stop, and Bute has not KO'd any world class opponents either!

    Bute has not KO'd world class opponents?Salem,Toney,Berrio,Zuniga,Joppy were all ''world class'' if you even know what that means.
    On the other hand Taylor has stopped 1 world class MW and his power has gone down at SMW.
    If you actually think Taylor has more power than Bute you deserves you'r last ranking in the prediction league cuz you are worse than Atlas and the avatar.

    no, Bute's a much better counterpunch, much slicker, and he rarely gives up his distance and gets into exchanges like Taylor does, not to mention he's a bigger guy and hits harder, i'd definitely say if Bute doesn't stop him late, he'd school him and make it look easy

    also, does Froch even no what a southpaw is?, even if he does, he'd never be able to get off his jab against one, specially 1 who stays behind his jab like Bute does, and did i mention his handspeed?, this **** would be a mismatch, no joke

    Exactly,plus Froch's pressure ain't the type of fast pressure Bute hates.
    This should be real easy for Bute if it happens.
