Uber arrogant... "international superstar", who talks down to even his own father. Split from his dad 2 years ago, quote in the paper from his old man "I did not like the way he talked down at me" Look at the way he refused the handshake last night, and then was persuaded to do the right thing, his natural instinct is to be that wrong un. Never liked this person, totally respect him in the ring.. proven warrior spirit with limited actual boxing skills. Calzaghe aged 35 could have done us all a big favour. Imagine what his speed and skills would have done to the upstart.
Huge lesson in life from the whole build up to this fight. The popular guy always gets labelled the good guy...throughout the build up the only one who was constantly disrespectful was Frock yet the public fell for the con. The masses are always mugged.
Anyone else getting pissed of with froch saying 'its as simple as that?' Its making his 'im a warrior' nonsense sound like sweet music.
I didn't like him saying "everyone loves me" in his post fight interview. Came across as arrogant- not even Nigel Benn during his peak uttered those words (and was probably more universally loved than Froch ever was/has been). Difficult to see how Froch deals with the venom that some of the fans are throwing at him- there was a definite double turn in Groves' favour.
This......hence why i had 50 on Groves and got robbed. I knew speed would be the difference in this fight and it was. Thought Groves was sensational
I stuck £100 on Groves at evens after round 2 or 3, thought it was a cert. Did worry at how tired he was after 5/6. I think he burnt masses of nervous energy pre fight. I can't see Froch ever fighting GG again, and if he does it will be a definite Groves win for me.
Eye, Froch is evil. No doubt about it. Pure unadulterated evil. I heard he killed a bus load of nuns one time.
