I think he gives a good account of himself, the higher up it goes too, but Duran has his number I think. Oscar has a great left hook and makes it tough though
Maybe he steals a decision at 160 with some flurries and movement. Duran had no legs at 160. He waddled around like a penguin, still world class if you came at him of course but no real footspeed if you moved
Come on man. Oscar does not beat Duran at any of these weights. Oscar doesn't beat Duran at all period
I think Oscar has a chance in all of them, but there will be no real dialogue or chance given to him in this thread. Personally I think Duran wins at LW and JWW (but think DLH is a live dog in them as well) but the rest could/should be top tier matches that could swing either way. But this thread was doomed to failure from the start...
Oscar did not have the power probably to hurt Duran? I am not sure. Yet he was better DeJesus in many ways,, and had a left hook himself. I think this is underrating Oscar a little.
Oscar was a legit elite and Duran did not do so well with elites. Saying Duran would just wipe him out? I am not sure it is that easy.
I'm of the opinion that Duran takes Oskar apart. Dont ever envision Oskar beating Duran. I just dont see it and no amount of back and forth would make me change my mind.
it would be interesting to see the Oscar of 1996 that sliced N diced the makeup job of JC Chavez. Duran would have to be highly motivated Duran on points
ODLH doesn't beat any version of Duran unless he caught him on one of his unmotivated nights at 147-154.....ODLH is better than many give him credit for but his career doesn't put him in Durans or JCC's class. His obvious cherry picking at times was equally as bad as SRL's and not quite as bad as PBF/FMM but this IMO puts him at a deficit in the ring with a prime ATG
