yo i agree... it was clear that paul wasnt his regular self that night

    whether it was

    - not being focused
    - not being prepared
    - weight issues
    - off night

regardless he came back and handled business

im just saying its possible.. we saw it once you know what im saying....

ima a big paul williams fan.. im just keeping it real

    Excuses?

Paul proved it by KOing him with ease in the rematch.

Im a fan but not that big of a fan but he wasn't focused. Look sluggish and off. He didn't make excuses but you know he didn't take the fight serious. Quitana wasn't looked as a serious threat.

Whatever it was, he KOed him with ease..

Some fair points, but remember it was Floyd who chose to be a boxer.

We all know it is a dangerous and brutal sport, but great fighters have to fight the best, even with the risk of losing.

Winning is not a guarantee in any sport, there would be no shame for Floyd or anyone else in his place to lose a fight.

PS: I have great respect for Roy Jones, at least he never backed out of a fight, he took every challenge that came up, even if it was dangerous. I wasn't one of those who forgot/brushed him out.

The second fight proves he was out of focus in the first? Geez... again!! How simple minded can you be Eze? :patsch

Gee...maybe Quintana was unfocused in the second... See how dumb and easy that is? Go run to the roofie store *******. You're probably low....

Maybe he was but he didn't look different, looked like himself. Not slow, or sluggish.

He looked like he had got KTFO is all.

I'd rather **** them when they are passed out than predict Baldomir to TKO Floyd in the 11th like you did.

right but being a boxer doesnt mean you throw all caution to the wind and just fight someone like its a video game or something...

i agree about roy and do as well... but the thing is.... when everything is said and done... people like us

    "hard core boxing fans"

arent the ones who are focused on in retrospect...

its the mainstream and average joe who are focused on....

there are many people who if you say the word

    "roy jones jr"

    to them

the first words that might come out of their mouth is that they got knocked the **** out

Exactly, Roy to a lot of my friends who dont pay much attention to boxing, knew Roy was the best fighter. Now all he's known for is getting KTFO.
