If Calz and Haye vacate and Froch loses his WBC bout.

Not that it really matters. We've still got lots of decent fighters to watch but it's funny how things go...

I don't think it's anything to worry about. Just a couple of champs losing and a couple moving up in weight. It will be rectified when Froch wins the WBC title.

If Froch does not win a belt then it will be along tme till we have any more champs. No one really coming through which is disapointing.

tbh with the exception of witter, the champs we've lost have been pretty average.

but once calzaghe and haye vacate their belts we won't have any abc belt holders! (just three ring belt holders)

With the exeption of Cotto, Mayweather and a few of the little guys all the champs are pretty average.

We have Haye and Calzaghe - they're champs. The others were belt holders.

I don't give a **** about belts to be honest.

Ring Mazagine titles are all that matter - the alphabets are more corrupt than Gordon Brown

A magazine's titles are all that matter? That is just ridiculous. It's this need to add more titles that is messing everything up.

"There are too many titles, what we need is a new one to sort it all out".

At least the sanctioning bodies can make their champs fight the best guys.

I understand your point Mike - but they seem to be vulnerable to, well, shall we say outside influences and often make a mockery of the sport.

There are far too many titles I do agree - there is nothing I would like to see the back of more than International and Intercontinental titles, perhaps the Ring Magazine could strip fighters for refusing to fight their No. 1 contender, this may get the fighters fighting the best opposition - certainly more so than the WBO and IBF do by putting chumps infront of it's champions.

The ring title generally represents the linear title therefore its as good a giude as any other 'title' in the sport.

Yep a magazine owned by Goldenboy promotions is all that matters and is totally fair to all the competition.
