Yeah, I did phrase that wrongly sorry but its also very easy to understate what happened. Tyson TWICE bit an opponent and, but for plastic surgery, would left him permanently disfigured.

He wanted to fight with no rules, the same way holyfield thought he could fight with no rules and had Tyson cameback in the fight, I can assure you Holyfield would of done more cluthcing and butting.

I don't know about you, but I porbably would of bodyslammed his ass being in that situation. Being a spectator is not same as actually being in it, and most people speak out of their ass.

Yeah, even though it was wrong I can't really blame him for doing it but two wrongs don't make a right.

He also explained why he bit him twice, cause Holyfield butt him twice, actually it was more than that, even though he said that. In fact he was doing it consistently in the first fight as well. I don't think gave **** either at that moment when he did it because he had enough of what evander was doing.

That is true. People always fault Tyson and call him a "madman" but ALWAYS ignore the fact he got headbutted several times.

Don't forget the biting was premeditated, Tyson had deliberately left his gumshield out the previous round.

He bit Holyfield twice because Mills Lane DQ'd him before he did it a 3rd time.

It was premeditated because of the butting. It was actually the first round he got aggressive too and was kicking Holyhfields ass in the round as well.

And mills lane DQ'ed him because he did it again after he deducted 2 points after the first time, so no it wasn't so he wouldn't do it a third time. Unless you can somehow tell the future.

Me saying he'd do something a 3rd time that he'd already done twice before is a damn sight more realistic than you saying that he'd suddenly see the light and stop doing it!!

He'd been deducted 2 points, yet did it again and you're asking us to believe he'd have stopped there? Come on......

Tyson in that fight was no more than vicious and could have seriously damaged evander. I was a fan of tyson in his early career.

Nope, I'm just telling the facts, unlike you who lets your personal feelings about Tyson get involved. One things fopr sure though, based on the first fight, Holyfield proved he wouldn't of stopped his dirty tactics, which he showed again in the second fight, that would do have evidence of. Had Tyson not bitten him, he would continued as long as could to try and win when Tyson would gotten momemtem back.

What facts? That Tyson TWICE bit an opponent and was very likely to do it again?

Its quite obvious who has the "personal feelings" about Tyson in this thread, you seem willing to excuse him anything in order to explain away the biting and the defeat.

Tyson was always mentally suspect esp. after prison, he saw the second fight going the same way as the first and didn't fancy it.

7.5 out of 10 in my book.

He was much better than in the 1st fight, he weighed in under 220 for I think the last time in his career.

Headmovement was good, not great as in his prime, though not far off. His handspeed was still there.

I think the mental deficit he suffered by being TKOed in the first fight was the main thing holding him back, more so than his lack of physical attributes.

he was not that great in the second holyfield fight.

  15. Holyfield was just better; it really is that simple. Holy knew what Mike was going to do before he did it.
