From a scale from 1-10 how bad was the Oscar De La Hoya meltdown????

    I thought he won..and I couldn't believe the scorecard.

    the fact that he never avenged his loss drops him a LOT in the ATG rankings.

    Jack Presscot needs to chime in here..

    He wasn't with Steward then.

    He was with Alcazar and Clancy. They didn't tell him to give away the rounds. They told him "box, box, box". Alcazar also told him after either the 10th or 11th "make sure they know you won the round".

    Oscar was fatigued, he said his "legs were shaking", and did what he thought was necessary to win.

    I thought DLH won enough rounds to win the fight.

    My mistake. I remember the fight wrong. That does change things.

    De La Hoya wasn't the same fighter after he fought Fernando vargas in my opinion, people forget how good this guy was.
