I thought I’d take a stab at the top boxers, alphabetically by last name, one per letter. I’m sure I’ll miss some as I’m not going to take all night researching, so please tell me where I might have gone wrong, or where you disagree: A - Muhammad Ali B - Charley Burley C - Julio Cesar Chavez D - Roberto Duran E - Flash Elorde F - Bob Foster G - Kid Gavilan H - Marvelous Marvin Hagler I - Ike Ibeabuchi J - Julian Jackson K - Stanley Ketchel L - Joe Louis M - Carlos Monzon N - Jose Napoles O - Carlos Ortiz P - Willie Pep Q - Dwight Muhammad Qawi R - Ray Robinson S - Sandy Saddler T - Dick Tiger U - Oleksandr Usyk V - Rodrigo Valdez W - Barbados Joe Walcott X - Cassius X* Y - Jimmy Young Z - Carlos Zarate * After beating Liston, the fighter who came to be known as Muhammad Ali briefly announced that he would be known as Cassius X. Some letters were hard because of so many choices: Joe Louis or Ray Leonard or Ricardo Lopez or Jake LaMotta for L, for instance. X was basically impossible, as near as I could come up with anyway. A few had limited choices: U and I and Y, and T had surprisingly few. So what’s your alphabet of boxing?
Nice list. Some i might have added at a quick look (Bolded are standouts for me) C - Ezzard Charles F - George Foreman I - Guts Ishimatsu J - Eder Jofre O - Ruben Olivares U - Yasutsune Uehara W - Pernell Whitaker Y - Teddy Yarosz
