Sorry, I starred it out so that I wasn't expelled by big brother for linking to a full article from another site.

I know it's a small thing but thing about Marquez never wobbling Pac in any of their first 3 fights? Really? Pretty sure he's rocked him at least a couple of times.

Just remember, we're all boxing geeks so we know the story, none of its really new to us, its an artuicle aimed at sporting fans in general so whilst he might get plaudits, its not new or a different take.

I certainly dont like how much these guys are still involved in the sport, very dangerous

I do think he was on something dodgy for that fight not denying it.

If you had to take a guess, what percentage of elite world level fighters use something they shouldn't?

Leopards don't change their spots. Ward was nowhere near as strong in his earlier career as he is now. In fact, he was thought of as being rather flaky around the chops and lacking strength and dig. Of course fighters naturally get stronger, but then he looked liked the strongest super middle you'll ever see against Kessler and Froch in terms of core strength; and Kessler and Froch are beasts at the weight.

If you remember Fight Camp 360 when the promoters were deciding the Super Six venues, Ward and Goossen would've pulled out of the tournament if they didn't get all their group fights in Oakland. It was then an effort to get Ward to Atlantic City for the final. Since then he has point blank refused a Bute fight because he couldn't keep the fight at home and so fought Dawson in Oakland and was also then lined up to fight Pavlik in Oakland.

Incidentally, other than 2 fights in the Caribbean, the Super Six final was Ward's only fight outside of California for nearly 6 yrs. And prior to that fight Ward sustained the most ridiculous and obvioulsy bull**** boxing related injury I've ever heard of to significantly delay it.

Conte's big thing was 'the clear' as that article noted, but fortunately he's a good guy these days.
