Read this in classics Peter Mcneeley was the Irish guy that a mid 90's Mike Tyson analized in 2 minutes. That being said, here is some footage of his heavyweight career. It's really choppy, but you get the gest of it. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QxuZ5bW1Dck[/ame] So which ATG from the lowest possible weight class can beat Prime Peter Mcneeley over 12.
Tough to say. They would first have to avoid McNeeley's "Cocoon of horror" On that note, thanks for bringing that fight back up because I went to youtube to find that interview and found this... Mike Tyson vs Peter McNeeley Promo Outtakes Watch what Tyson does to King at 4:45+ [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZL2muV3dpqA[/ame]
I was reading this thread in classics regarding who is the smallest possible weightclass ATG that could beat Mcneeley. A lot of people think the lowest will be a 168 Roy or a 160 Hagler. I think a 154 Leonard or Hearns have a decent chance. 50/50
PhillyPhan69, a distinguished poster had this to say about this subject "" If this is a serious question , I don't see anyone under the weight of LHW that could beat him legitimately....Perhaps I am wrong??? I would imagine quite a few from 175+ could beat him, I struggle to see any SMW/MW and under beating him...Perhaps they would make him look foolish, slow and inept at times, but ultimately he would be to strong for those under that weight IMHO!"" good point Phillyphan Hookfromhell got this to say I dont think McNeely would be able to cut off the ring on Pime Jones. Honestly the only McNeely fight Ive seen was against Tyson, so I cant really guage McNeelys chin since he got Knocked down by one of the most powerful punchers. So dont know if Jones, Hopkins, could stop him.
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5JtvVXqqAOo[/ame] They just need to be able to crack his chin early on.
