I don't think Gamboa needs anymore fights. He'll knock Lopez out right now. Gamboa's skills have improved along with his timing and add that to his speed and counter punching Lopez would have very little chance. Lopez hasn't improved at all and gets countered way to easily. He's also never seen that type of speed before which would give him even more problems.

I don't see a easy win for Gamboa like the rest of you. Gamboa has the speed advantage but Lopez imo actually hits harder imo. Gamboa doesn't take the best punch and if he can caught who's to say he's gonna be able to take Lopez's punches, I don't think so. Lopez may not be able to take Gamboa's punches either, we'll see what happens. I'll pick a winner later.

  5. Gamboa is too big, too fast, and too strong for Juan. They both still make a lot of mistakes and leave a lot to be desired defensively and because of that fact, I think Gamboa's physical advantages will earn him a win.

Do they do it on the undercard of Cotto's annual Puerto Rico day card or are they trying to sell the fight on its own?

This fight would be like Vazquez Vs. Marquez all over again. Technical offensive masters with a 'smidge' of defense lapses. It makes for a very entertaining fight if Juanma decides to take it.

the problem for gamboa is that offense alone doesn't win fights, and from what we've seen in the past, he's been dropped by guys who were supposed to lay over. What is going to happen when he faces someone who can bang like himself, who ain't looking to lay over.

Gamboa's size and speed will overwhelm JuanMa.

Bad joke. Gamboa doesn't have the punch resistance.

Did Mtagwa go up to 126?

Impressive showing by both men (Mtagwa and Lopez) but I don't think Lopez should avoid Gamboa, as if Gamboa is unbeatable.

What people need to remember is that Mtagwa is just a journeyman. Hes been hyped up by the Lopez fight, but in reality hes B/C level.

Gamboa's power is awesome, but its the speed that separates him from Lopez.
