Gamboa by KO in or before the middle rounds.

It wouldn't be a bad idea for him to avoid yuri. He's not big, skilled, or powerful enough to deal with gamboa yet. These 2 could meet later on.

I say that juanma fights rojas or cruz to grow more into the weight 1st.

Yuri is just better in every category than juanma right now, and maybe forever.

I love it when people do that because I love to bookmark pages, and I keep my bookmarks very well organized.

I'll come back to haunt you in a few months if the fight gets done. Remember today, and forget me not. :hey

Keep laughing, I just want to see you on the day that JuanMa fights Gamboa...( if he ever decides to ).

Gamboa will hit Lopez at will, counter him at will and then take him out! Too damm fast, strong and accurate for Lopez.

Also, you heard what the commentator said? " Lopez lost in his opening bout at the 2004 Olympics ", the very same Olympics where Gamboa grabbed Gold...

    Laugh now !!! :good

Yes, as an amateur Gamboa far out-shined Lopez...as a professional he isn't near him yet. Lopez wasn't a ''regular'' WBA champion, has been one of only three fighters to have three consecutive first-round knockouts in title fights and is now a titlist in two weight classes. Neither man has been the linear champion or a unified champion or even come close, so they're not living up to their own potential. But Lopez is still ahead of Gamboa as a pro. Really coming along though. :good

You are right, he isn't near Lopez, he is way above. He is watching López in his rear view mirror.

If you look at this from JuanMa's perspective, the reasons to fight Gamboa are not there right now. Gamboa is a very good fighter but he doesn't have many accomplishments as a pro. So if JuanMa beats him that win will be quickly discredited, and that win is not gonna be an easy one in the first place. Its not a coincidence that JuanMa was headlining the card. If Gamboa beats someone like Chris John or Guerrero, then I think JuanMa will fight him.

On the flip side Gamboa probably thinks he could make quick work of JuanMa after his win over Mtagwa, especially considering JuanMa has just stepped up to FW. Also Juan is a 2 weight champ so Gamboa has alot to gain from this fight.

I don't see these guys fighting each other right away, even though it would be a great fight.
