If anyone is interested, here is a very fascinating piece on Floyd Mayweather http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2445160-how-little-floyd-became-money-mayweather Whether you like our hate the man, there is some good stuff in here. It's not a fluff piece, but it's also not riddled with bias either. It's a long read for an article. Here are some highlights -Mayweather grew up in a difficult environment where his most meaningful relationship was with his father; a relationship that was often abusive and built around boxing -Mayweather was depressed and almost quit boxing when his dad went to jail and was blindsided shortly after(blindsided here being a phrase coined from the movie the blindside wherein a young black athlete is taken in by a white family). -Mayweather is a control freak -Mayweather suffers from OCD(article doesn't confirm this but it is strongly implied) -Mayweather cried after watching the notebook -Mayweather has picked up the abusive tendencies of his father and has little idea how to deal with women -Mayweather seems to want to be a good person, but his myriad of personal flaws/disorders often prevent this from occurring.
I am just glad he is NOT my next door neoghbour. On a side note -the official poster they are using is hugely disappointing. My dog could have been more creative than that snapshot.
