Well yeah you can say its fishy, I can too. I also understand why he wouldnt want floyd telling him what to do.

If you are currently on the top and money is not your prime motive anymore, you wouldnt want a challenger (which I think how PAC sees floyd) telling you what to do.

You fight someone else who deserve the shot/payday. In this case they chose clottey and it look like its not gonna be a bad fight at all. Floyd is now under pressure to fight Mosley, big treat for less money. Like I said I believe floyd lost the game here. And from the way its going, it look like Floyd/Mosley is not happenning. Who is he going to fight now without losing face?

But he agreed to it, that's my problem. He agreed to these test, he just wanted a cut off date. And that came down to 24 or 14. And his excuse for why 14 days is not good enough.

I guess but compromises happen and Pac did not make them. This is the biggest fight in boxing / boxing history and it's not happening right now because of 10 days.

His excuse for 14 days is not good enough.

Clottey-pac is not a good fight.

Clottey can't even get his trainer to come to the states. And he's coming off a loss. Im not excited for this fight at all.

    LOL I dont know man.

This thing does get very tiring, its just going around in the circle, dont you agree? I just want to see a good fight that is all. I have not post much in here and I already though its taking too much of my time. Ill probably just log off and wait until there is a confirmed fight. So much easier that way me think :nut

I think the majority of people in here just want to wound people up. Its seems to be the culture in this forum and that is probably why its so busy. They probably dont really meant it, I can see it can be fun to some.

I know Im guilty in a few occasions :D

Gayweather agreed to the same exigencies he placed on Pacquiao....the only difference was that Pacquiao refused the test and forfeited close to $4o milllion dollar paycheck.

Back where I come from it means....Gayweather called Pacquiao out and Pacquioa RAN !!!!!!!!!!

I don't know how many posters here actually train for fights, whether it's boxing or MMA, or any kind of sport that requires weight training and conditioning. I had a buddy who walked around 155-160 but trained and fought competitions at the welterweight limit for Olympic-Taekwondo.

Those of you are saying it's a joke saying he can't be blood tested 14 days out. The 2nd and 3rd weeks pre-fight, pre-competition are pretty key in preparing for a match. The first few weeks of my buddy's training camp, he's all about conditioning and shedding weight, just trying to get acclimated to the weight loss. In the last month, the 2-3 weeks prefight especially, he's finely tuning his diet that he'll be on the last several weeks as well as training super hard for his bout. He's often said the hardest training is literally the last month before his competitions. There's absolutely no sparring the week of the fight, and he's mostly just doing cardio or some light runs and watching what he eats.

It's easy for us to balk and talk **** about "giving blood" and how ***** a 5-minute blood test would seem when that's furthest from the truth. Elite athletes like these eat 8,000 to 10,000+ calories a day just to maintain the weight they're at given the rigorous training.
