IT all boils down to pacquiao not being able to do the tests because he is obviously loading his li'l body with 'roids. Anybody with just a bit of common sense should be able to see this. Then again, common sense is not so common!

Even my pure hatred for Cotto (and mostly his fans) doesn't blind me to the fact that he has to be one of the unluckiest fighters in recent history. First he was bludgeoned half to death by a guy with cinder-blocks, then he was kung-fu'd half to death by a roid-raging midget.

    Damn.

Im getting kinda bored with all this blood testing...

As for this interview, Pacquiao's English doesn't really help him to be honest. Although he did give a reason/excuse for not taking the blood test 14/15 days before, Im sure he may have been able to explain it a bit better if his English improved.

Im in no position to criticize his English though...it's not like im going out of my way to learn a different language.

The reason this bout didn't happen was either they have agreed to the bout already, later on in the year. Or both boxers and camps have too big an ego to budge on there demands. Both boxers made unrealistic demands.

Do you react badly to needles/blood tests?
    Are you squeamish about needles?
If Pac is, then it can throw him off mentally a bit, and a day or two training.
In reality it makes little difference but if his mental stability for the fight hangs in everything being perfect for all the months of camp so be it.

Mayweather agreed on most if not all Roidiao's demands, it was Roidiao that didn't agree to the blood test even after a few concessions on the timing. IS that an unrealistic demand??... blood testing??? same for BOTH??? IT'S unreal that some ppl deem this unfair and unreal, if u don't think so go ask the thousands of athletes that have been submitted to this kind of tests!!

If a 14 day cut off would be such a huge problem for his training then why did Roach say a 5 day cut off would be fine?

I think the blood testing Mayweather was asking for in this bout needs to be implemented as soon as possible, but they need to go about it in a different way.
Pacquiao asked for $10million for each pound Mayweather comes in over 147lbs...this is unrealistic.
Mayweather asks for specific blood testing...this is unrealistic...as far as I am aware, no blood testing like this has been implemented into any bout before.
I find it 'unreal' that some people can defend either fighter at this point. Both camps are in the wrong, and the people who can't see this are just blinded by there love for there boxer, or hatred for the other.
The sport is boxing, two men get in the ring and fight...why try your hardest to defend two boxers who didn't get in the ring to fight, and possibly missed out on the biggest bout in history...a bout the fans wanted and were calling for??

And stop with all the 'Roidiao' crap, it just makes you sound childish!!

:patschWould you imagine if the Olympic Commission go to Michael Phelps or Lance Armstrong to do a blood test and they would respond with that kind of ****? "Oh no, sir, not today, thank you though! My training is the elite, top tier kind of training and this would drain me." Do you think the comittee would go something like: "Oh, ALL Right then, we'll skip you this time just because you r such a superstar AND YOU DO NEED to train this hard, but not all the other athletes, just you!" That would be an insult to all the hard training every other pro athlete does as it is an insult from Mr. Pacquiao to do that very same thing. By doing this he is insulting/laughing at the training that the other boxers do. This should be part of every pro-sport & if you can't comply because of a physical OR mental edge drop, then so be it. That should be considered (and it is) a physical/mental disadvantage like ANY OTHER!! A guy weighing 250lbs. or having a phobia to roads is very unlikely to win a Tour De France, right?? So be it! A guy dropping his edge by a blood test should not be considered a top athlete then! Is either that or you are plainly admitting in other words your use of STEROIDS!
