Frustrated that Spence/Crawford, GGG/Andrade/Charlo or Beterbiev/Bivol haven't fought each other yet

Money and risk is why these don't fight each other. That's why none of these divisions have champions in it, only beltholders.

Name of the game is hold on to your belt as long as possible and avoid stiff competition.

Canelo is able to make other beltholders fight him because he can afford to bank roll all of them with cash they never seen before.

However, if there is no cash, these guys will sit on their hands until some golden goose arrives.
Boxing is business first, entertainment second, and sport distant third it seems.

GGG is 40 probably made a mistake waiting for Canelo and has had close fights so might not want to risk legacy at this point unless for a big payday. Bud and Spence doing the wrong side of the street bs. Beterbiev and Bivol not sure what the problem is there.
So I wouldn't hold your breath we might get one out of three next year.

I would like to see Bivol-Bertbiev. Before COVID I though Bivol was the better fighter and he would decision Beterbiev with his more refined boxing skills. Bivol's only post-COVID fight was a pretty bad performance. He looked sluggish and really struggled with the not-too-special Craig Richards. Beterbiev did not look good but easily won his comeback fight against Adam Deines. Next month's bout with Marcus Browne should tell us a lot about whether Beterbiev's mediocre showing against Deines was rust-related or age-related.

Now that Bivol has beaten Canelo is it possible for him to forgo this rematch nonsense and go straight to Beterbiev (assuming he beats up Smith of course)?

I'm still waiting on them to announce Crawford vs Spence, it's been too long now.

And GGG should face Charlo or Andrade instead of going for Canelo rematch.

Beterbiev and Bivol shouldn't fight each other. I'd rather see them fighting American and European boxers.

Listening to people who thought Canelo could compete at CW showed how little most fans actually understand this sport.

It's boxing in the year 2022, avoiding good fights is standard operating procedure.
