These are both fairly huge steps up in class for Joyce & Figueroa, respectively.

Great that Joyce has travelled over to the US to show them what a real HW and fearless warrior looks like. None of this wearing a stupid mask and padding your record with 39 bums and senior citizen who is old enough to remember the Industrial Revolution. That said, I do feel bad for Kiladze as the poor guy is coming off 2 stoppage loses and his management have thrown him straight back in with 250lbs of prime British beef in JJJ.

I didn't realize that, but still, he's more of a live body than Joyce has been in with yet.

Against Kownacki, and Kiladze was coming off of a bout with the flu, then Michael Hunter stopped him in his debut at Heavyweight.

The announcers playing up how big Russell's performance against Escandon was mentioning King Tug's in passing. Tug smashed him dropping him 4 times and stopping him in 3 rounds :risas3:

Yeah he suffered back-to-back stoppage loses to Kownacki and Michael Hunter. Yeah Kiladze's a decent fighter and he had his moments against both of them, but Joyce is going to have something like 30lbs on him and hits way harder than Hunter and Kownacki.

Dom Breazeale, who is doing commentary for FS1, said he sparred JJJ and that the power is real.
