FS1: Emanuel Gonzalez vs. Tevin Farmer RBR

Daniel "The Mountain" Martz (who stands 6'8" and resembles a mountain dweller) is going wild, running around the ring wearing a towel like a cape and shouting "WHOOOOOO" with his arms flapping.

Yeah, the show was already entering season 2 when he turned pro.

Gregor Clegane in GOT, however, is actually skilled in combat in addition to plain huge. :yep

Heading in, to be fair, both of Martz's blemishes - the draw and the loss - were against unbeaten prospects, one a majority and the other a split decision. He also had one recognizable name beaten in the extremely shot Rubin Williams. This, however, is the biggest moment of his career (and let's face it; he lucked out with Santos' injury) and might stand as his ceiling, despite him only being 23.

I'd pick Santos in a rematch.

Danny Kelly vs. Eric Newell, 4 rounds @ heavyweight

 

There have actually been three guys to play the Mountain. The original from Season 1 'looked' the part the most; the Season 2 was just a tall scrawny guy and horribly cast, and then yeah the Scandinavian guy they have now in Season 4 is a pretty good fit and is the first one AFAIK to have any significant dialog...and not only did he look fearsome in his training & battle sequences, but he was a not too horrible actor. :think

 

Round 1

Kelly is jabbing in on Newell, who jumps forward to clinch. Kelly peels him off and shoves him away. Kelly is grinding and wrenching on the inside as Newell continues flopping into clinches. Kelly works short uppercuts and jabs up top. Newell has a bad hematoma on the left side of his forehead. Left jab to the body by Kelly. Left hook thrown away by Kelly as Newell sags into the ropes with his arms lowered to catch the next jab. Big chopping right instead by Kelly, down goes Newell, clutching the bottom rope. Newell gets up but turns in the wrong direction, facing the crowd instead of the ref, who starts waving.

KO1!!

His voice reminds me a bit of Roy Jones', in both timbre and inflection (despite being from completely different parts of the country)
