Will the Peterson Bros. go 2-0 tonight? Or 0-2? Or 1-1? Or 1-1 in the other direction?

They will go 2-0. Lamont has the tougher task of course, but I think he will prevail.

Thoughts on both Peterson’s fights? Odds are very close.

I think they'll go 1-1, Mendez is tough and much better suited at 140 that he was at 130 or 135, but I think Peterson's pressure and volume will wear him down. Lamont on the other hand, he engages too much, and that will be his downfall tonight. Lipinets can crack, and the only reason why Bone went the distance is because he was on his bicycle, Lamont is getting stopped late.

Many predictions have both fights 50/50

Lip is younger and Lamont is older and inactive

I’ve become even more skeptical of Fox’s punch counter after paying close attention to it during this Breedy-Fuentes opening fight on the undercard. It’s crediting Breedy for meaningless arm punches when they’re in the clinch while it’s not crediting Fuentes for the same work. Further, it’s just crediting a lot of punches that outright miss from both men. Very strange lol
