Always liked Lamont

 

I personally like Lamont, but how do you figure that he's one of the good guys? Dude was roided to the gills versus Khan...



I wish he had gotten the nod over Danny... Dude deserved a good name on his resume aside from shot Holt.

LP has one of the best ledgers in boxing; Bradley, Tyner, Ortiz, Jean, Matthysse, Khan, Holt, Diaz, Garcia, Spence, Lippinets. His career was REAL.

 

LP will be missed he’s a warrior ,he fought everybody and he's a nice guy too

 

It was the second time he was badly hurt and he went down hard.
Peterson's legs were gone and they were right to stop it.

There was no point in taking further punishment, even if he was slightly ahead on the cards.

 

Barry Hunter knows Lamont better than anyone.

He said after the fight that it’s been happening more and more often,so it’s possible his punch resistance has gone.

 

That's what happens when you're a fan-friendly warrior who isn't necessarily viewed as a top level threat. Those guys never have problems landing fights.

His drawback was his lack of power, but if he could crack harder, he probably wouldn't have all those names on his ledger.
