He struggled wit journeyman like Rhodes or Bone. He beat Kondo in a close fight who was blasted out by some Thai prospect recently. And Zappa always goes down in the end because he's there to KO or getting KO'd. And all forgetting he's moving up. Strange move for a small man like him. He has done absolutely nothing at 147 so far. He looked average vs. Bone and that was his first fight at 147. Now he's fighting a big 147 and a very good one.

We can argue about scores and if he won 3,4,2 or 1 round vs Mikey. Doesn't matter IMO. He did relatively well in that fight, yes, he made Mikey work hard, yes, but that was one weight class below. And Mikey is always taking some rounds off. He did it vs. Easter, he did it vs. Lipinets and he also did with Broner. All won a couple of rounds in there but had no chance to win.

Lenny Z got violently KTFO? Nah, that's a bit harsh. Lipinets landed a good and accurate shot and he didn't make it back but definitely no KTFO. He was up after few seconds and looked absolutely fine. Just a well timed shot which send him down and he needed 15 seconds instead of 10.

He won vs. Bone? I didn't see it like that but as i said we can argue about scores. He definitely struggled from my point of view vs. both Bone and Rhodes. Both journeyman. Better than their records but still journeyman.

Lipinets is overrated because he won 3-4 rounds vs. Mikey. He's a basic fighter with a good punch. I do not see anything special in him.

Lamont should beat him comfortably IF he has anything left. And from what i have seen and read he should have.

It was a pretty brutal KO, he wilted and collapsed to the canvass, it looked bad.

He was absolutely fine about 5 seconds after the ref waved it off....and he wasn't even on his back, just sat there and looked spent. I would not consider that as a brutal KO where he collapsed ?! Delayed reaction to a nice and accurate punch by Lipinets.

    Round 1 Peterson 10-9, close

Anthony jabbed him several times to the body, and got through a few rights and hooks around the guard, Mendez landed a few glancing rights.

Cheers mate i needed that, i was doubting my pick, i don't agree with it all but you reminded me about his stamina i haven't seen a few of those fights Lamont Spence and lipinets zappavigna/ Rhoads so i can't see your full argument, I've gone Lamont, i think lipinets was impressive against mickey and a closer fight than it's remembered the fight was postponed because of a shoulder or hand injury i CBA to check which but both difficult injuries to over come, maybe iam giving him extra credit there...... Let's go Lamont

    Round 1 Peterson 10-9, close
    Round 2 Peterson 10-9

Anthony fighting very negatively, but doubling and tripling up the jab from the outside, and occasionally landing rights, enough to take the 2nd.

    Round 1 Peterson 10-9, close
    Round 2 Peterson 10-9
    Round 3 Peterson 10-9

Anthony defending well, gets in close worked the body early, then landed a flurry to the head later, jabbing throughout.
