Hernandez is crab-walking in on Hill, still with his arms low. Punching together, both land hooks on the chest and forcefully knock each other back. Hill goes for a sweeping hook, on the belt line. Hernandez sells it as low, and milks his time on his knees while the ref looks nonplussed. Point is taken from Hill. Time in. Hernandez's stalling for time did him no favors as Hill is lighting him up with straight volleys and finishing with hooks downstairs, out-landing his wide fly-fishing slaps about 5:1.

Round 8

Hernandez is now posing on the outside, bobbing slightly in place. Hernandez stomps in and tries a pair of wide slaps on the hips of Hill. Quick jabs down the middle by Hill, piercing through Hernandez's gloves. Hill is backed up onto the ropes and mauled with Hernandez throwing both arms over Hill and encircling him. Hernandez leads with a left upper-hook and chops down with a right, both punches blocked. He tries grabbing but Hill is able to skip free along the ropes. Hill shoeshines down low and Hernandez drops a right on the bridge of his nose.

I could see the scores being all over the place. A couple of rounds (the sixth and eighth) were the sort where some might give it to Hernandez on the basis of a single big eye-catching punch or two when in reality Hill put in the best work and more than enough of it for Hernandez's couple of impact shots to not make a difference. I also think round 5 could've gone either way.

The fans scoring along via the website per FS1 also gave Hill the 1st, which I gave to Hernandez.

So, give Hill the fifth and subtract that awful point deduction and you could have it a draw on my card. Give him the first as fans scoring along with FS1 did, and he edges it.

...but on the other hand, give Hernandez both of those along with the knee-jerk rounds in which he scored the most eye-catching single moments, and it could be very wide for him.

Prescott working the jab well. Ghvamichava is leading with overhand rights embedded in Prescott's neck and sinking hard left hooks into the body. Prescott strong with the jab. Both with responsibly tight defense, stingily denying many connects upstairs. Ghvamichava pressing forward but Prescott keeping him at bay with the jab.

Ghvamichava is walking onto jabs and dipping to his right to avoid Prescott's follow-up right hand dropped in off the backfoot. Ghvamichava pressuring, baiting Prescott into exchanges. Ghvamichava scores a three-piece, jab cross jab in pursuit and Prescott is down. Ruled a foot entanglement/slip. Borderline call. Double up-jab by Ghvamichava, working his way in close and scoring on the body. Another double jab by Ghvamichava up close.

Ghvamichava is leading with the left hook, chasing Prescott. Sneaky right hand submerged by Prescott into the belly with a quick braking & bend of his knees before resuming his evasive tactics. Ghvamichava is jabbing with Prescott. Both scoring, but Prescott's longer reach proving advantageous, letting him touch Ghvamichava more cleanly while maintaining distance. Ghvamichava is putting together lefts and rights keeping pace with Prescott, attempting to corner him, using lead right feints to psyche his man out and obscure his intentions. SOLID right cross by Ghvamichava, best punch of the night.

Round 4

Ghvamichava jackhammers with the jab, pecking through Prescott's defenses and bringing in the short hatchet overhand right. Prescott drops a level and loads up his own counter overhand, buying some time. Ghvamichava rolls on, slipping Prescott's jab and 1-2, keeping alert, tilting as needed on the way in. Hard jab and slicing downward right on the brow from Ghvamichava and down goes Prescott! Up and jabbing, saved by the bell.

Ghvamichava is cutting the ring off, painting the face of Prescott with jabs and raking claw-hammer rights. Prescott noodles out a 1-2 and tries stuffing Ghvamichava with uppercuts to halt the advance, but is looking tired and weak. Ghvamichava chasing him all over the ring, keeping a steady pace.
