Fun fight, I'm kept amused by how hairy Levan is.:think

    Round 6

Double hook by Prescott. Ghvamichava is doubling his jab and connects with the right hand on the button. Ghvamichava is jabbing and then maneuvering his right arm over his chest, into position to deflect Prescott's counters off the back of it with an upward flick. Prescott tries a lead overhand right feint but Ghvamichava doesn't take his bait, instead cautiously swaying back with his guard up and then snapping in once he realizes the bluff, immediately back on the attack. Prescott is dancing around, popping jabs into the air, refusing to engage. When they get close, the jab of Ghvamichava has more authoritative steam on it and gets Prescott to scramble hurriedly in retreat. Right hand by Ghvamichava. Long yo-yo right by Prescott on the outside, easily dodged.

    10-9 Ghvamichava

    59-54 Ghvamichava

    Round 7

Hard jabs by Ghvamichava. Prescott winging the right hand wide and getting countered. Wavy uppercut by Prescott, deflected off the back of Ghvamichava's left arm. HARD straights in succession by Ghvamichava, nothing fancy, no great flashes of hand speed, just pumping away, ripping into Prescott's face, stunning him and backing him up into the ropes. More pressure by Ghvamichava, another straight right, and Prescott is down again, hard. Prescott shoved down again by a stiff left forearm by Ghvamichava. Correctly not ruled a KD, but the Colombian's legs are gone. Another push-down. May have been a flop by Prescott. Time in. Right hand by Ghvamichava. Prescott drilled backwards and onto his butt in the corner.

    TKO7!!

Nice bounce back from the Lipinets stoppage, I thought Prescott's corner was stupid for letting him go out for the 7th, you could see it in his eyes he looked out of it. I knew for certain he wouldn't see the 8th.

So, is Levan any good or is Prescott just that past it?

Really after the KD in the fourth this only had one possible ending. Ghvamichava just has too much of a gas tank and chin for Prescott to have effected a reversal of fortune (not to mention size, being a natural solidly built LWW/WW, and Prescott has never scored a notable KO north of lightweight...and in truth, only the one notable KO, ever), and Prescott is a known late-fade risk.

Ghvamichava is what used to be called "FNF level".

Prescott used to be, a division or two lower, but no longer is.

...and barely even a full minute after the KO, we go off air. No interviews, no final stats, nothing. Heaven forbid we cut into "TMZ Sports" even a second more than necessary!!!

Let alone that boxing itself was preempted way more than 15 minutes by the ASG.

Just me or is that visually like watching a welter knock out a cruiser?

Seriously don't get how they're in the same weight class. Upshaw absolutely TOWERS over him, and doesn't exactly have less defined upper body musculature. He must have some absolute toothpicks for legs under that pair of "shorts". (and judging by his ankles, which are the only part visible and only slightly more than you'd see on a woman in an oppressive Islamic state, that is definitely the case)

It looked like Deontay Wilder taking on a far better looking, far more skilled and clearly in far better shape Jason Gavern.
