    Round 9

Romero jabs into the mouth, barely reaching and not landing with much impact as Perez steps away. Romero keeps punching, not letting up, right uppercuts on the body and left hooks up on Perez's temple. Perez is countering with left hooks on the body and mostly just scissoring his legs or strafing with his gloves up over his chin. Romero aims over the gloves and bangs Perez high on the head with both gloves, none of his punches very forceful or thrown in textbook manner but piling up through sheer will. Nice counter left hook by Perez.

    10-9 Romero

    88-83 Perez

    Round 10

Perez is jogging outside and in place, throwing wide slapping left hooks and doubling up on them with speed if not power. Romero is throwing jabs, uppercuts, and chops while remaining on top of Perez like a tarp. Perez hooks to freedom, circles out to the ropes, and clinches when he runs out of gas. Romero is jerking Perez's face back with jabs now, smothering him against the ropes and landing uppercuts on the chest and chops across the eyes.

    10-9 Romero

    97-93 Perez
