It's weird that Sadam Ali is headlining over Michael Perez despite being in an eight-rounder, where Perez is a further developed prospect (although no longer unbeaten like Ali) in a 10-rounder...

Browne was among the first of last summer's U.S.A. squad at the London Olympics to go pro. He is a perfect 6-0, all knockouts and never having gone deeper than a minute into round three.

Williams is 5-1-1 and has competed as high as heavyweight, and has a few inches of height on the six foot Browne to offset Browne's eleven year advantage in youthfulness.

    Round 1

Williams is circling and jabbing down at Browne, holding his bushy beard aloft with his back straight and posture leaned away with his arms up. Browne circles and pops his southpaw jab into Williams' chest, driving some upward lefts between the gap when the left hand of Williams comes down to swat at Browne's jab. Slow pace.

    10-9 Browne

    Round 2

Browne is doubling and tripling his right jab to the body on the way inside, then planking up the left hand just under Williams' throat. Williams is catching shots, ducking and rolling on the outside, looking to counter down the middle with his orthodox 1-2 but not executing with the sort of timing he is looking for with Browne dropping and weaving as he circles and moves in and out. Double jab by Browne, scooting back as Williams dives in looking for a right to the body. Lead left hook by Williams rushing in, clinch. Browne spins Williams out of the next clinch with a cuffing right hook. Browne flicks a jab out, sidearm, not trying to land but just preserve the space as he moves left.

    10-9 Browne

    20-18 Browne

Lamont Williams (never stopped, his only loss to date being on points) has officially survived longer than any Browne opponent yet.

    Round 3

Browne is firing the southpaw 1-2 hard at an incline, reaching for Williams' chin. Williams is moving laterally and keeping his arms out to cast a net and disrupt Browne's combos. Browne is landing obliquely on the chest and backing Williams up but not getting his beard as cleanly as he would like. Williams counters with single right hands down the pipe and parrying Browne's right jab with his left. Little stutter steps in and out and feints by Williams. Browne maintains his composure on the outside, not taking any of Williams' bait, hitting him with right jabs to the body when they close the distance. Right hand by Williams dropped on the top of Browne's head but he takes a high-clapping left on his own brow in the process.

    10-9 Browne

    30-27 Browne
