I don't have Versus so I don't know how their coverage of boxing is. I like ESPN's coverage because I'm a big fan of Joe Tessitore. One thing I hate, though, is commercials for every end of round.

well of course ESPN is more consistent than both in terms of coverage, but they whole prospect vs overmatched journeyman theme is tiring at some point....and hearing Teddy yap about it even moreso. Versus is wildly inconsistent when it comes to boxing coverage.....They showed Pascal-Diaconu 1 and Hopkins-Ornelas.....other than that I'm not sure what they did last year, and this year they dropped a perfectly good opportunity to air Adamek-Estrada. FSN is looking very promising right now, 2 great cards in a row....just wish i didn't have to put my computer at risk with online streams, FSN doesn't come with Comcast (on the east coast at least)

ESPN .... I just wish they would show a glimpse of the ring card girls between rounds like they do on Showtime.

Versus appears to be making an effort, without looking like they have any idea on how to cover boxing. I like that the non-fan can be exposed to non-household names on ESPN; even if it's sometimes a C-grade fight, it puts the Super Fights into proper perspective for them. That sounds harsher than I meant, sorry.

What - you don't like being targeted by Cialis and Just For Men commercials?

The "Con Carácter" commercials are beginning to grow on me, though.

In 08 ESPN would be dead last.
They were giving nothing fights where prospects (at the time) Peter Quillin and Joe Greene were being fed easy opponents - but struggling with them and looking terrible in the process.

Vs. on the other hand was giving an ocassional great fight (like Cunningham v Adamek - just great match making there)

    But this year?
ESPN is doing an awesome job.
    The match making is incredible:

    Roman Karmazin v D. Miranda
Brinkley v Stevens (yes, this was going to be a good fight when it was signed)
    and next
    Yusaf Mack v Glen Johnson

3 very good fights in 2 months from ESPN.

FSN thus far has shown itself to be a place where robberies happen.

ESPN without a doubt. Especially, now that it is in HD. I love JT's announcing and Teddy's expert opinion and it has been awhile since there was a bull**** decision. FSN has the better matchups, but so far they are two for two in bull**** decisions, and that Barry Tompkins guy (he announced the Ouma-Vanes fight) wasn't excited worth a **** while I love Tessitore's energy.
