Fujimoto defeats WBC #15 Welliver

    He wasnt K1 champion, maybe some lower level K1 tournament but he was never the champion!!

    He was the K-1 HW champion. He won it in a 4-man tournament (beat Manhoef and Saki) and defended it against Peter Aerts.

    He never won an actual HW GP tournament, but he did have the HW belt (even though he lost to Karaev and Spong in fights where his title was not on the line afterwards).

    the bigger the fighters in japan get , the worse they do in boxing......they are excellent in the lower weights...once the get up past 140, they are done...you saw how bad the middleweight from japan BUM KILLER sturm took on....so if this big heavyweight from japan beat # 15 ranked chauncey....they could be making a super breed of boxers for the heavyweight division

    welliver was 250 lbs. u think he would have learned from his last outing.

    Unfortunately Welliver will remain in the WBC rankings as he still holds a couple of their bull**** belts. :-(
