Demers is faster and better technically. He also as longer reach and is smarter then Zuniga.

Zuniga is stronger and oubviously hits harder then Demers.

Both are one dimensional. Zuniga is a slugger while Demers can box well but can't really fight on the inside or pressure.

Demers doesn't have that bad of a chin. He got hurt by Abraham but wasn't out. It was more due to inexperience than anything and I think the ref shouldve let him go on an bit in the AA fight as it was the end of the round. Anyways...

    Demers by SD.

haven't really seen demers, can anyone tell me more about him? he doesn't seem to hit very hard and the word is that he's got a questionable set of whiskers. also, why is it he was a 'small middleweight' when he fought abraham but now he's a big one?

Executioner, Demers is what we can call a textbook boxer. He has an EXCELLENT jab and sets up everything from it. He is a very good boxer on the outside and doesn't make many mistakes as he is very good technically. He knows all the punches in the book and his money punch (excluding is jab) is his uppercut in both hands.

His main weaknesses are obviously his lack of power and many considers he has a suspect chin. Personally, i think he has a good chin, not great but good but he got KOed in 3 against Abraham but i don't think he was out. He was hurt but still had his senses and once he got up from the knockdown the ref stopped it which I think was a bit premature.

Anyways he was a small middleweight because he started his career at 154 and only moved up to 160 two fights prior to the AA fight (two fight which by the way were against the same guy who is not exactly world class) so he didn't carry is weight very well but now he did some tremendous work in the gym and packed up some muscle and since he is 6 feet tall, we can now consider him a big middleweight as his frame became much bigger.

Also, i think he has a chance to beat Zuniga because he improved a lot since the Abraham fight. He fought better competition than ever before and looked very well. He had a victory over Walid Smichet who gave hell to John Duddy as well as other good wins which contributed to his experience. But the thing that really will make a difference is that he was and still is the main sparring partner to Librado Andrade who now trains he Montreal and some people reported that their sparring sessions were real wars and Librado himself was very impressed by the improvement he saw in Demers' game day after day and thinks he has a very good chance to get a title in the MW division once Pavlik and AA move up to 168.

    So thats about it....:good

Demers as a good but not powerful enough jab. Tall arms and fast hands. But is foot work and defense are still way too static. I expected him to improved more after being thrown in too early in is development against Abraham. I thought he needed it, as he was to arrogant and cocky.

I have not seen much of Zuniga, but if i beleive what i have heard, he should KO Demers.

They're sending Demers to slaughterhouse again. Zuniga by KO.
