Does anyone know what this guys future plans are and when he will be fighting next? He's one of the handful of the most entertaining fighters out there, but he doesnt get much pub!
Gave Kelly a good bout but was stopped because the Ghost cut him up with box cutters found on his gloves.
don't man its not a safe bet Pascal is underrated right now coming off a couple of disappointing performances where he was not 100%. Now he has taken the time to heal his shoulder properly, and has been sparring with Librado Andrade and Sebastien Demers. He will come out strong in his next fight. Zuniga is small at SMW and not amazing in the skills department. Pascal will surely beat him.
Really? Well he should bypass him and go for a title shot...high risk little reward fight for Pascal. Though I'd slightly favor the well schooled Jean.
Zuniga is scheduled to fight Pascal on August 1st. The fight was originally scheduled for June 6th, and Friday Night Fights was going to air it. Pascal's camp rescheduled it due to Jean's on-going shoulder problems. August 1st is a Tuesday, so I doubt if it will make TV. I'm hoping Pascal comes in 100% with no complaints about the injury. This is where we find out what Pascal is made of. Right now Zuniga is the ultimate gate keeper at 168. If you're not the real deal, Zuniga will let the world know right quick! I'll be rooting for the "Z" man! If he wins, maybe that will lead to a well deserved "Big Money" fight.
I think he should drop back down to 160. Then we could see some good stuff. Bring on Duddy/Zuniga! I'm not sure, but I think he only moved up because of the Oganov fight. Now he has that IBO trinket, and seems to want to defend it.
Pascal is a much better boxer and will win a wide UD. I can see a puncher's chance for Fulgencio but i don't think he can win a decision unless he scores couple knockdowns. I favor Pascal by UD (8-4).
You're probaly spot on here. Pascal is going to get his defense tested, and get his chin checked, but I agree that Zuniga probably needs a KO or multiple knock downs to win.
