Full Chris Eubank Jr. Sparring Session Ahead Of Billy Joe Saunders Fight

A few points

1/ Light heavyweight my arse, looked more like a welterweight

2/ Eubank 'shifts' when punching occasionally, but doesn't do it that effectively and this could see him open to a counter from BJS. When he steps forward he is out of position. See the video of GGG mastering it, well EUJ doesn't....

Exactly. If that guy is a welterweight, Eubank Jr is a light welterweight-welterweight.

Asked around and it's Sam Sheedy apparently.

 

Thanks for posting that, made for interesting viewing. Team Eubank definitely do things differently, like releasing this sparring footage. I hope it works out well for CEJ in the end

Would like to know who else CEJ has sparred to prepare for BJS.

BJS is going to embarrass him. That front foot flashy shifting style will get him repeatedly countered. Punch for punch BJS is the better boxer and it will become very apparent very quickly on fight night. I've seen eubank hit with shots he really shouldn't be getting hit with with against the caliber of fighter he has been fighting so far. He relies too much on his athleticism.

 

Billy Joe going to show hes a few levels above and take Eubank to school.

 

I like both kids but Eubank Jnr will stop BJS late.
Chris will look like a Super middle tank on fight night and will be far to strong for his man. I Can see him starting out on the outside and then start to break Saunders up with body work and then stepping in on him after 6 rds. it won't be easy and I know we haven't seem him in with the same standard of opponent but I've seen enough to know that Jnr is the better talent.

 

Saunders has good chin but lacks a 4 handed attack if that makes any sense.

I reckon he'll drop a UD.. Eubank Jr might even drop him.
