I didn't expect, not in a million years, to see Maidana come performing the way he did. From the opening bell he was there clearly signalling that he's here to win and is going to fight till the very end nonstop. He cut off the ring far better than before, looked in far better condition, his punches weren't overly predictable and wild as they used to be and his combinations were consistent. It's unbelievable how he transformed from a predictable wild swinging plodder to the machine he proved he can be. Halfway through the fight, as much as I used to hate him, I found myself rooting for him all the way. The come-back taunt in round 11 was classic too. Amazing stuff, this could be fight of the year. Must give Broner credit too, he could have taken an easier route and fought anyone else in the division to keep cashing up. But he decided to fight Maidana and prove he's here to fight them all. Sadly, his 0 is now gone but it should be entertaining to see him return from this.
i actually thought broner has the personality to entertain minus his zero. he is young and living his life. imagine the things you did when you were younger. only difference is there was no camera in your face. he goest to the ring with the mindset of hurting people not play safe. and he is vulnerabe too. there is an element of excitement in his future fights, much like khan. i think we still have to see the best of broner. floyd on the other hand i couldnt picture losing his 0 and still marketable.
That's because you're ******ed. If Floyd were to lose a fight, the immediate rematch would break all PPV records.
i had broner winning fairly easy UD... very impressed with maidana.. he beat him quite convincingly and suprisingly used his jab.. something i had not seen from maidana that often... and that looping overhand right was like a magnet to broners head
floyds chin is china? your kidding right? cherry picking ? say what you want but his career is full of great fighters coming off good wins go and make another thread about him so atleast we can ignore your bull****
Maidana didn't really shock me in how he fought. What was crazy was that Broner thought that Maidana would sit back and box with him more. Broner seems to have never been in a fight like that, and when he had to fight that way, he found it difficult to even land on Maidana. When he did hurt Maidana, he wa so effed up that he could not follow up.
Doing well brother, glad to see you stop by. Long damn time indeed, how are you and your two(hopefully more now) champions doing?
If Mayweather lost the public would be far more excited than ever to see how he would perform in a come-back fight and how his Full Access performances would be.
