He beat a legitimate Ortiz and showed some heart and a bit of chin to do it. Establishes himself as the #2 HW in the world after Joshua. Let's see him in with the Parker/Joshua winner next with all of the belts on the line. That was a hell of a fight.

    He earned something.

    He still lacks boxing skill.

    Literally just all explosive power.

He nearly had his career ended by that 50 year old.

    Wilder is Number ONE
You will be surprised how easy Anthony Joshua will be compared to Ortiz

Much respect to Ortiz, everybody knew he was King Kong hence the ducking

Yes now Wilder is true champ, without any doubts, but if to be honest Wilder was lucky that Ortiz got exhausted after 7 round.

He's not number two at all. He is on equal footing.

Disagree. Beating an ATG > Beating a boogieman. Takam is also a better win than Stiverne, and Joshua notched those wins in half the amount of fights it took Deontay. Joshua's resume is still a nose ahead.

Yes, a bit lucky, because in the 8th round Wilder, apparently, has not yet recovered, and if Ortiz was fresh he would have definitely finished off Wilder

When the right hand connects, it's NIGHT NIGHT for the Gypsy king.

You Think Wilder can land his right hand on the most elusive 6'8" heavyweight in the history of boxing? It took it how many rounds for him to find a 50 year old fairly static counterpuncher cuban?

    Easy work for Fury.

Wlad couldn't even throw his right hand he knew it wouldn't land.

No thats not fair, he is a close second but not on equal footing just yet.

Well unless Parker beats AJ then yes i would agree with you, so the next month will decide for sure.
