Wasn’t that the way it went for Wlad vs. Joshua ... had him ready to go but didn’t or couldn’t press on to do finish it?

they both came a whisker from being ko'd by old men. Fury almost got ko'd by two feather fisted fighters. one an old man Cw, the other a bum. Parker has looked like garbage ever since stepped up in class. none are above the others.

I don't know about plodding you talking about, I thought I saw the man dancing in the ring. No matter, he hits like a mack truck and he caught Wilder flush an few times and Wilder held up. What's better than knocking your opponent unconscious?

Which of the two? Wlad or Joshua? I recall Joshua gassing and needing a round or two to recoup after not being able to get the KO initially.

Yes, plodding. Ortiz's dancing on his toes, on the outside and then shorting a few jabs was mostly ineffectual the few times he did that. When he did make contact, it was when he plodded. Ortiz was just at too big of a physical deficit.

I agree, luck smiled to each fighter and I don't diminish Wilder's victory, because I highly appreciated Ortiz before the fight and until now. But i think if Ortiz were younger (3-4 years) he would have defeat Wilder.

Wilder believes in himself....it’s not just talk. Is he unbeatable? No....but he is a winner. He has the mental fortitude that great champions are supposed to have...his skills are lacking but the power he has been blessed with makes up for what he lacks technically. I still lean towards Joshua to beat him but I believe Wilder has the power to pull off an upset.

Wilder thanked the referee for giving his extra time to recover................notice that, the commentators did...............if not for the bell, Wilder would have been knocked out, his chin showed it's not so good..............

I see the usual haters out in full force, too pompous to give Deontay his credit. I advise the bodybuilder Joshua to surrender his titles quickly once he takes out Parker. Nobody's beating the devastating Bronze Bomber now!

Anthony Joshua is the divisions number 1 fighter. Wilder is just a big number 2.

Jesus UTF I must be sleeping still.. Giving Wilder credit? I think you finally understand why that ***** Joshua wants absolutely nothing to do with big bad Wilder.

I give credit where it's due. I'd still make Joshua a big favorite but he'd better be on his a-game and not come in too heavy. Otherwise he could get stopped late.

I give Wilder credit, how much? The minimum amount. He was bookies fav over an old man and did what he was supposed to.

Ortiz wasn't even cleared by NYSAC until Saturday to fight! This is appalling.

Great post, good for you for being very reasonable and fair to someone you don't like.
