Full details on Briggs' condition / corner, ref should've pulled him out

Just watched rounds 9 and 10 and was absolutely amazed that Briggs was able to survive such a one sided massacre and appalled that the fight wasn't stopped. Just an unnecessary taxing that he was subjected to. Hope that he ends up ok.

Of course Briggs isn't the best out there, but the "best guys" don't want to fight. Reason, because afterwards they are just overrated Klitschko victims who had no business beïng in the same ring with them.

The reasons given as to why.....crap offers. K2 has not put out 1 decent offer to anybody. Demand is low to face them....they have to up their god damned offers and drop their ridiculous clauses. David Haye is an arsehole and a half but he is right about the slave contracts the Klits are offering.

The Klitschkos are the only game in town and for them to put a rematch or two clause in the contract is nothing really to write home about, as they're the money generatators in the division. And besides, if David were to beat one of them, who wouldn't want to see him fight the older/younger brother?

50-50 cut with two rematch clauses (meaning immediate rematch + brother fight) isn't that bad now, is it?

 

Yeah, how unfair is it to give a fighter the opporunity to clean house, and win all the titles over a two or three megafight series.

There was pretty much a whole page in the round-by-round thread of people saying, "This should be stopped". If a bunch of 'keyboard warriors' could see it, how the referee and the corner couldn't is beyond me.

Not at all...but this is after Haye took a much different route than the slave contract offered at 1st. Haye has forced them into this offer. He is an arsehole but him and Booth are pretty smart.

The recent Wlad negotiations and this Briggs fight is BS though. Wlad is offering 300K with all kinds of options to opponents who have about 1% chance to win.

I mean come on! They are so dominant that they can afford to sweeten the pie to get the guys in the ring who really should be there. They are ruining the HW division. They have dropped the bar so low now that everyone thinks they can get a shot without taking a good fight 1st. It is all because of K2 being cheap as hell.
