    so by sergios "logic" he didnt deserve a shot at the title neither...right ?

    coming off a draw, and a loss doesn't really get you a fight with the champ...and he did

    What gets me is the way Sergio was acting like Jr is simply riding the coat tail of his father, is he trying to psych out Chavez or is he trying to convince himself that this kid doesnt have the goods:think

    He's getting in his head. Sergio probably does respect Jr. but he wants JCC to doubt himself.

    whatever he's trying is not working...jr laughing at him and coming right back with smart ass remarks too, shows that jr doesn't give a ****, but respects him as a fighter.....on the other hand, maravilla doesn't even respect the kid as a fighter....big no-no right there.....

    chavez has had bottles thrown at him in his own country for ****s sake....and has always been criticized for coming out the nuts of one of the worlds best fighters.....sergio aint saying nothing new, or getting in his head.....

    sergio should be mad at the politics of boxing, not at jr

    Agreed. It is CLEAR that Sergio is on a Mind-control mission. He refuses to even allow Chavez to think of ANY other possible outcome other than be ktfo.


    You can see signs of disappointment in Sergio's eyes when it appears as though, Chavez Jr. is not accepting the storyline as put forth my Sergio at some points in the face off.


    Overall, good face-off and I will be rooting for the Marvelous Metrosexual. :yikes

    he meant as for sergios statement of his prediction.....sergio thinks it's written in the books that he beats someone with no skills like jr......big mistake if he thinks that....

    I thought the faceoff was good tv. I pick JR to win this fight, this whole bull**** that follows him because of his father I could care less about. He's turned into a good fighter, a warrior in the ring. You can see he's a tad crazy by the look on his face, and it seems like Sergio may have saw it too. Sergio is basically going to have to kill Chavez to keep him from coming, that's a tall task for anybody for 12 rounds.

    For those of you that can't tell that Martinez is merely trying to hype up the fight and possibly trying to get in Jr's head are just naive.

    problem is, he's starting to believe his own bull****....you can see a whole new martinez, and if jr was really a bum, sergio would pay no mind at all, and just remain calm and humble how he usually is
