    how they performed against the same opposition...

    floyd got a solid decision over zab while cotto demolished him

    floyd got a solid decision over victoriano sosa while cotto demolished him

    floyd was rocked by corley...so was cotto (in worse fashion) both had solid victories over him...but cotto's was marred by the ref who stopped it prematurely. i thought cotto was on his way to stopping corley though.

    both have solid victories over shane mosley...but i thought cotto fought the better version...floyds victory was more impressive.

    cotto fought 2 guys floyd wouldn't/couldn't....margarito and pac. both were losses...both were suspect.

    cotto has faced and beaten more undefeated foes than mayweather

    I did briefly mention common opponents on post 15#

    I do agree with you when you say

    'both have solid victories over shane mosley...but i thought cotto fought the better version...floyds victory was more impressive'

    Floyd was more stunned than rocked against corley and it was briefly

    Haven't seen the victoriano sosa fight
