This man has been ridiculed and disrespected throughout the build up, but the man has a heart of a lion, a very good skill set and formidable power. He proved tonight that there has been good reason as to why he has been avoided by other HW's in the division I hope he got paid handsome sum for his efforts. Enough hopefully to retire and take care of his family back in Cuba. He certainly deserves it and it was nice to see him and Wilder embrace at the end after a hard fought battle between two men who went to War.
Yep and I’m pretty sure he will be 300 pounds and never heard from again. I would have liked to see him, povetkin, breAzelle, Pulev, and others have a round robin.
He made a great fight. And on that I really don't want to see Wilder again vs fringe men like he's been feasting on. The bar has been set with Ortiz. Joshua, Povetkin, Pulev, Whyte, Miller, Kownacki.. these are the guys he should face. No more second raters.

Anyone with an ounce of boxing knowledge knew Ortiz would do well in there tonight. Showed a lot of heart in there getting up from that heavy KD. Puts many Cubans, especially Rigo to shame.
