Btw, loved how Marquez eyes widened when the host of golpe a golpe posed the question, "He's more dangerous, Pacquiao uses the right hand now more effectively and it makes him a more dangerous fighter."

......to which Marquez answered, "yes, but that can also benefit me because as he uses his right hand that opens up a variety of other punches for me , the uppercut and my left hook."

Nacho has been preaching since before Marquez rematched Pacquiao that a more complete and two fisted Pacquiao makes it easier for Marquez to decipher.
Nacho would much rather face the evolutionized Pacquiao than the wildcat version of Pacquiao.
As Nacho has always put it, "a wild cat is unpredictable."

Trainers and fighters will usually say anything to get inside the head of the other side, usually their heart is'nt into what they're saying and they dont really believe it themselves. I can sense some of that from the Pacquiao side, particularly with Ariza and Roach talking about an early KO and this "its personal" mumbo jumbo.

.....but when you see an interview like this and the calmness in which Marquez explains the advantages and disadvantages on both sides, you can sense coming from him that its not about a secret planning strategy that will be the difference between winning and losing.

Marquez is telling the world that Pacquiao throwing his right benefits himself, and he say's it matter of factly as if it were a given.:lol::lol:

The way Marquez talks strategy, he kind of is knowingly showing his cards to the other side as if to say, "these are my cards, there's not a damn thing boxistically you can do to counteract it, I'll always be a step ahead of you.....
.....its no wonder the two Bozo's on the other side named Roach and Ariza are trying to convince themselves and the media that Pacquiao will walk through Marquez in an X ammount of rounds.:yep

jmm comes to fight. i believe those writing him off are just agenda laden.. so as to discredit the fight should pac win and if they are wrong, then they'd be glad to be proven it.

jmm will be a tough fight. i have a feeling jmm's chin will hold up and might not even get knocked down. pac really has to focus in this fight.

I disagree there. It's not a downfall per se, but a double-edged sword. To me it appears you need to hold such confidence in order to not fold under his athleticism and pressure like many of his recent opponents have.

Marquez walks a fine line. To get off and land the tremendous combinations that he does, you've got to have confidence and be aggressive with the flow of your punches.
However, as Marquez stated in that interview. Through each of those initial knockdowns, he got caught with the big punch because he was having so much sucess landing, he viewed the situation as easy and neglected his defense.
In Marquez' own words, "the situation was becoming too easy he became overconfident and got caught in the process."

The bad news for Pacquiao is that Marquez also said that its in his mind not to let his mind enter an overconfidence mindset in his third fight with Pacquiao so that this time the excuse is not to hand Pacquiao the fight due to knockdowns resulting from overconfidence.

"When I throw my combinations, I'm going to be very aware to bring my guard back very quickly to protect my chin" is what Marquez had to say.

Pac is still a little undersized at welter, hardly rehydrates past the limit. I think JWW would be his optimum. Certainly hard to disprove from his one fight there against the best 140lber of his generation. For Marquez, WW Pac is a harder proposition, Pac being stronger against a guy have to go up two divisions. In that sense, yes, it is the best Pac Marquez could possibly face.

Thats brilliant that is. JMM gets asked a question about how pac is even more dangerous and immediately turns the tables by seeing the advantage it gives him. ****ing A :good

I actually im thinking JMM will beat Pac the most convincingly he has out of the 3 fights.

He knows what to do and what not to do. He knows no one is going to do him any favors. Pac really has all the pressure on him this time.
Not to mention Pac is also now getting older and regardless to what everyone else says i see him losing some speed along with having the same problems he did against lateral movement.

    JMM KO anyone???

not by KO for me but I think this is the most riskiest fight pac took since cotto, theres a chance of an upset JMM by UD or SD. Most people who just say pac by KO are the same people picking fighters based of size and how bigger they are compare to the opponent but after seeing the pics theres not much of a difference and with marquez already used to pac he already know whats up and what to expect

When he retires he will be missed. I'm excited for PAC vs Marquez III
