This edit was a little better. Still not enough info on McClellan's injury & recovery. They briefly touched on McClellan being brought home maybe too soon, but didn't go any further. A bit more stuff on the dog fighting. Lisa's comments on it were moved towards the end & it came across better. They could've included Gary Newbon's comments as he saw it all up close & did the post-fight interview. It would have been better to add McClellan's son boxing at the end instead of his very young nephew. They also added the clip of Brendan Ingle asking that lad that question. Raising a non-issue about Benn's count should have been left out altogether, & maybe rabbit punches could have been mentioned. That's what most yanks whine about.
Did it make more sense? That was my main issue with the basic version - if I hadn't know the story I'd have been lost.
Not really. Only towards the end when Clarke said his visit was almost over and there was one more thing to address (dog stuff), then it cut to Lisa's thoughts. It also seems Gerald's hearing is actually ok, and it's just brain struggling to process what people say?
1st time Id seen it last night. Id no idea McClellans trainer was such an incompetent asswipe. Wearing that ****ing stupid hat whilst doing pad work with GMan and having to constantly stop to put it back on-dick! How anyone can attribute any blame to Benn for GMans condition, other than the fact he was the other boxer is beyond me. The ref was incompetent, McClellans corner made Tysons in Tokyo look like D'Amato and Futch, and otherwise it was just one of those horror stories from sport. Benn was blameless IMO.
i watched it a second time last night, and although they didint add much to it, it made it alot better. any one know the reason itv shortened it? if it was just the schedule im sure they could find half an hour from somewhere else, they show enough crap.
